    My understanding is that the weather at Culloden on 16th April 1746 was fairly miserable. Today then was an appropriate day for a recreation at Rockton, Ontario. We arrived shortly after 1pm in a light drizzle and the rain continued until the end of the battle. Thinking the Scots' luck had to turn, I contemplated placing a small wager on them. Fellow X-Marker Piper reminded me that it was a reinactment, not a revision. Ah, right. Of course.

    Despite the weather (and the outcome of the battle) it was a thoroughly enjoyable day. Here are some pics:

    Great photos Rob, the last one of Piper is really nice, sorry I could not make it, I was at work today, and boy were we busy, anyway thanks for the pictures glad you had a good time.
