For those of you who are curious about creepers, shere's what Wikipedia has to say: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brothel_creepers

I frequently wear Docs or Adidas with my kilt, and I was just wanting to try something different.

I bought those shoes to wear to work on days I don't feel like wearing boots... I don't think that Adidas look right with a polo shirt, "dickies" type work pants, and an argyle sweater...

Yeah, I figured many people's minds would go there... Unfortunately I realized it after I'd already posted the thread... And rest assured, I'm not that kind of guy.

How casually were you dressed? Tee shirt? Collared shirt? Tie? Jacket?

Well Crusty, for what it's worth I like to wear "Globe Men's Castro Shoes" for casual, and I have the brown tweed style. There are others that sound like they might have odd designs on them, but I bought these because they are made with the tweed patern.
    Here's a link.

Although, that site is advertising them more from a sports angle... They're slip on shoes and have more of an athletic sole on them i guess. They seem to go alright with a kilt if it's casual.

Hope you find what you're looking for.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…
