    Nope. One of the girls attending is a professional belly-dancer. The sword is one that she uses when she dances. We were all just drunk enough to try it, and just sober enough not to get ourselves hurt.

    No, they're balanced in the center of the blade, and have a rough spot at the balance point to make them easy to balance on your head. The sword wasn't the dangerous part. Jumping over the bonfire was.
