That looks really good and it must be great having a tartan in your name. Have you noticed how popular blue is in recent tartans? I wonder if blue dyes were more difficult in times past but I really like the look.
Looking really smart David and the colour combinations in the tartan work really well together and with your accessories. Looking forward to meeting you when you are wearing it.

What a beauty, David! Like Dee, I cannot wait to see it 'in the flesh' - hopefully at the Ferintosh Burns Supper next January (if not before!).
Do tell us more about the tartan, please.
Take care,
Ham.
Hi Hamish, The tartan was designed jointly by Mr Dalgliesh & his Son (D.C. Dalgliesh Tartan manufactures of Selkirk) for his sons wedding. It is not a registered Tartan yet, but he may put it on their web site, & if there is enough interest they may register it. I ordered the "Scotland the brave" kilt from them last year & this is when he told me of the "Dalgliesh" tartan. I ordered it a few months ago & was longer to wait as they would have to weave the tartan for the kilt & they were very busy. This is kilt No 3 as they made just two for the wedding. I like it, & don't care if it never gets registered as it is still a "Dalgliesh" tartan
