Well, I could not help it!
I did go by the store, and I asked very nicely about the kilts. I said that I really liked the display, but that the kilts were on "wrong", they said that they had their "creative people" who do that. I also said that a Scot would be offended by the way they are displayed.
That was just about all I said.......
Again, being creative in this way (by dressing them any old way) is like dressing a manikin in Lederhosen backwards, and makes the kilt not an alternative to pants, but a Costume, because there is no "Proper style".
The store again is quite nice, and there would really be no different reaction to the display if the kilts were properly worn.
I think that is the attitude that needs to be addressed.
Hopefully I helped. I was not critical or attacking the store or the window dresser, but I stated what I feel needs to be said. It is October, and if I can keep them from making the kilt look like a "costume", I will.
I walk by there daily, and will let you know of any changes!

It's a shame that they are on backwards. They look good though! But to Kelly and Rocky, the kilts look great and I personally will be getting a semi-trad in the near future.

Rocky and Kelly,
I'm really hoping you guys didn't put a big "JUICY" in bold letters on the pleats

Try this: "Why, yes of course you should discount the price! Can't you see it was made backwards?!?"
At any moment you must be prepared to give up who you are today for who you could become tomorrow.
