Well, I have to report for duty tomorrow morning. I'm going to wear pants tomorrow, and if I get selected for a jury, I'll ask about wearing a kilt.

Ya know--if it were me--I'd wear the kilt in semi-formal fashion, meaning crisp shirt, possibly a tie, coordinating hose (pulled up) with flashes and shined brogues.

I think the diversity thing should actually mean diversity. But it's your call.

If they let me wear it, that's how I'm going to do it.

I did it about 2 years ago to jury duty selection. Forget what top I wore... maybe a golf shirt.

I was never called in, so I never got "dismissed", but I wasn't PICKED EITHER!

Why NOT wear it to the courthouse? They can't throw you in JAIL for wearing it. You followed their rules and showed up in "respectable attire" (wear a golf shirt or a button down white shirt with tie). Remeber, it may be YOUR civic duty, but YOU'RE the one who has to sit there, so the way you're DRESSED shouldn't be an issue. Wear it and let them tell you no. As long as you show up and are AVAILABLE to be selected, your turn counts.

    YMMV.
So they didn't let women wear skirts either?
