Lovely kilt and what a nice touch to get the matching sashes. Thanks for the detail photos of inner buckle, that has answered some questions (and set the standard for my own level of craftspersonship. . .).

*Gasp* Now you have a Tewksbury! You lucky druid, you.
It sounds wonderful with all the matching sashes. Barb's been busy...
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Well it is GREAT to see another Young in this forum, I thought I was the lonely only one.
Good looking kilt, made better by our gorgeous tartan!

No offense to anyone - but just about any kilt can look good from 5 or 6 feet way - it takes a real master to make a kilt that looks this good under close inspection.
Congratulations on owning a masterpiece.

Congratulations on owning a masterpiece.
In one of my other areas of passion, old cars, we speak of "twenty-foot paint jobs" -- I'm content to produce "five-foot kilts" for the moment, but aspire to the real thing. . . this is just fabulous.
