We also have the high temperature snow, also called rain, but with the high winds it's coming down sideways.

Today we have been having heavy showers, it was either raining, raining hard, or about to rain. Not exactly chilly yet - still in short sleeves and no heating in the house.
I didn't even go out to get some apples off the trees - pretty soon they will start to drop off, must get some storage boxes and the step ladder organised so I can keep some of them.
One year we had a storm the night before I was going to pick them and every one of them was on the ground and damaged. The birds enjoyed them, either the apples or the squiggly things eating the apples.

Well in San Diego, CA it is just another beautiful day in paradise. Probably 75 with some clouds and mild winds. The ocean is lovely. It's a tough life but someone has to do it.

Down here in NC it's cool at night and 75-80 during the day. I love Fall weather.

Well, we do not seem to have had a summer this year! A handful of warm (not hot) sunny days scattered over the past five months, but otherwise a lot, and I mean a lot, of rain. I believe I have sat out in the garden no more than three times this year - and I LOVE and THRIVE on hot sunshine! The past week has been dry, sometimes bright but with a cold northerly wind. At the moment, just after 1.00am Sunday, it is absolutely pouring with rain and blowing a gale and this is as forecasted.
We do not see snow here every year thesedays - you could depend upon it when I was a child - and when we do, it generally comes just one night usually in January, is just a sprinkling and melts by mid-morning.
Sorry! I have gone on rather too much, but I am suffering severe sun withdrawal and am dreading the coming six or seven winter months - I'll have to order a few kilts to cheer myself up!!!!
Take care,
Ham.

From Thursday last, it has been a Beautiful Carolina fall. Warm, balmy days, cool crisp evenings, but nothing extreme. Makes me glad that I live here, instead of some places we have in the past.

We had our first dusting of snow today too, on the hills. It was gone by mid day.
No snow as yet in the south of Scotland but it has been unseasonably cold lately. Autumn seems to have arrived a full month earlier than normal and we haven't had much summer sunshine this year. It seems to have been a few years since we had a decent summer and the only times I've needed the sun tan lotion this year was while out of Scotland on holiday in Gran Canaria and Canada.
Oh for the blue skies of Canada!
I don't believe in global warming. Some areas of the globe might be getting warmer but is balanced out by other areas becoming cooler.
