Welcome from right up the road.
The last ren faire I went to was the Great Lakes Medieval, over in Ohio. But around Buffalo there are several Scottish games and festivals - Olcott, Amherst, Fort Erie, Hamilton, Toronto, all the way up to Fergus - there're plenty to choose from.

Welcome from Albany, NY! I've attended the Sterling Renaissance Faire almost every year since 1989. I've also gone to six other ren faires from Colorado to Maine and Sterling is definitely among the best.
