I wore my Royal Air Force tartan kilt to church on Remembrance Sunday. I wear it in memory of my late father who served in the Royal Air Force from 1940 to 1946 and who died in 2004. My kilt is pleated to the sett as a civilian kilt as I was never a member of the regular RAF (only a part-time cadet in the Air Training Corps).
