BC produces rain as one of our official crops and I have worn my kilts in it all the time and don't see the point of covering up a kilt with something that looks that bad. A kilt dries fairly quickly, looks better, and looks manly. It would be a shame to cover up a good looking kilt with one of these rainskirts when wrapping a $10 tarp from Home depot around your waist would work and look much the same.

That makes me think of a better idea. The 20 dollar tarp from there with the underlayer of plastic, sometimes used by campers who have tents that lack floors. Make a kilt from that... I would think that would work.... of course, wouldn't those 'safety kilts' also be good for rain, albeit hard on the eyes.
