IMHO the sweater is being warn as an accent piece, it should be worn as the shirt it is accenting - tucked in. The Sport Kilt is very forgiving of the thickness of the tucked in material, and the elastic acts to keep it tucked in. A very nice professional look in all.

Another Casual Look
Since there was some discussion about the sweater tucked in, I thought that I would add this photo with a different look, without the collar, and with the new Target vest. This evening we were invited to an open house with some of the parishioners in our former parish. This was their first exposure to the kilted Clark.

I realise it's debateable, but personally tucking in pullovers of any style is a no-no. For a sharper look with the clerical collar, I'd consider a black waistcoat. There's some good, cheap, ones available for catering staff that have the same fabric on front and rear as tey aren't intended to wear with a jacket. Just a thought, Graham.

Excellent. Exactly what I was thinking of. Try the DC with it and I'm sure you'll find it works well. I have a white clerical collared shirt that I wear for black-tie events - it would be too much without anything and I reckon a black waistcoat/vest would be the answer.
Cheers,
Graham.

Both looks look good, Spartan. You get to wear the kilt to work, too, you dog.
