These were fairly large GI Joe men, not like the Star Wars people we had later. They did have different clothing you could put on them, including boots and jackets, but no kilts that I know of.

One of the characters sticks out in my mind because he had a couple days of beard; it was somekind of synthetic hair kind of like velvet. I think they all had crew cuts.

There were also buildings and vehicles... all that stuff, but by the time I was playing with them, they were already kind of worn out. Must have been my brothers from before I was born.
I've still got my GI Joe's the bigones and one without the kung fu grip if you've still got them they are worth quite a but these days to collectors.

a Friend on mine had the Tank....i always wanted it myself....and I don't remember any kilted outfits for them either. If Action Jackson had one I don't think it would fit the Joe's he was quite a bit shorter if I remember correctly, My Brother had Him.

My mind just flooded with memories of all the toys my brother and I had from growing up.

We had a couple of Evil Knivel dolls that had an internal wire structure that could be bent. I remember those stretch men, He Man, and all kinds of things.

Even the little plastic army men and the cars... Gees!

A lot of them were hand-me-down toys, though.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…
