    That is one wonderful sporran! Thanks for the link. I'd seen a clock sporran before, different design, and have vague plans to cobble one up using Bob's father's (nonfunctional, no intrinsic value) watch innards.

    Now, back to the flowered kilt, which I think looks good but also agree on the belt and sporran suggestions posted above. I also love Symaniac's idea of Hawaiian upholstery fabric -- there are some outdoor fabrics that might make up well. Not sure I would ever get Bob into one. . .

    That is a well made kilt and the print is actually quite pretty. He is enjoying the kilt and that's all that matters.
