Mine was delivered a couple weeks ago, but it's too long. I've either got to hem it or order another and sell this one.

Not yet but with any luck I'll be able to order one very soon. working two jobs has to pay off for me in some way right?
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

Someday, when I have the money to order a made to measure kilt, the tartan of my choice will most probably be Isle of Skye

That's me in mine (wearing the Glengarry) at Caerlaverock Castle in January. The other IOS (on the left) is being modelled by Robin from the Netherlands.

Mine is my first Freedom Kilt

I absolutely adore the colors, and Steve does amazing kilts. This is my very best fitting kilt and you just can't beat having hidden pockets

off topic, but jamie, this is a surreal photo. the lighting and backround are striking; i know nothing about photography so i can't say it's "perfect," but i know what is pleasing to the human aesthetic... that backround looks painted, like a backdrop in front of which you would get your photo taken at a prom or cruise. if there weren't leaves and plants in the foreground, it really would look like a blue screen job. great photo, pal!
keeping somewhat on topic, the ios is an outstanding tartan. who wouldn't love to have that in their wardrobe?

Hi Chas.
It was a visit to Caerlaverock Castle during the Ferintosh Burns 250th weekend.
And yes Hamish is third from the right.

Got my IOS just after the first of the year and even my wife loves it. I went to a single malt scotch tasting last week and found out that Talisker is made on the IOS.
