My list contains the following:
the sporran which a very talented X-Marker made for me and is on its way to my greedy little paws
a 4-yard Newsome box in Carolina, with some extra yardage for a half-plaid
a tank in my university tartan, which has yet to be approved, ordered or woven. (It'll be a while.)
a "real" sgian _____ (what's Gaelic for "brown"?) with a hand-carved walnut handle
a black dress sporran to wear with my PC
That's about it.

When given a choice, most people will choose.

Donn. From which we get "dun" in English.

Good question. I'm already on the Newsome waiting list for my Elliot Ancient box pleat, so that one's more or less off my list at this point. After that, I think I want a casual woolie in Elliot, just so I don't take the risk of ruining Matt's masterpiece by wearing it all the time. I also will probably end up ordering a USAK casual in Holyrood, mainly because I love that tartan. Beyond that, I will most likely end up with a Carolina of some variety and a few casuals to beat around in. Not sure what tartans yet.
At some point, I probably also need to get a sporran or three and a few belts as well. Hmmm..... Donnie does live just down the road a ways......

Well, I have three in mind at present
Mitchell Ancient (can't decide 5 or 8 yd, 13 or 16 oz)
USAK Mitchell Modern casual- just for the ease of on and off- and with summer acoming much lighter in polyviscose than wool.
Utah Centennial Tartan, but got to round up some discretionary cash for all this first.
Its a mild jones.

Dear Santa,
I want a Cameron Black & Red kilt for formal attire,
an Ancient Gunn for bumming around in,
and a Doublas Modern just cause I want one.
Cheers, ColMac
Gee Willickers Santa, I almost forgot - a kilt in USAF Reserve Pipe Band tartan to wear with my Mess Jacket.

Ok, I'll say it:
As lang's my arm!
Ok, that was cheesy, even for me.
