Interesting.. When you said salmon, I thought that it would also be full mask.

But the deer one has white spot. Now, I am not a hunter, but I thought those spots implied that it was from a fawn.

If you're talking the American Whitetail Deer then you are correct. There are several species of deer in other countries that the adults have spots. I kind of liked the deer sporran.

Have to confess, I've never been a fan of the full mask sporrans. The idea of having a nearly-whole, recognisable animal hanging over my crotch has never appealed.

But a whole dead duck tied around my waist? That's just weird!

I can accept that answer, but the people around here (where I live), probably not so much.

That appears to be the hide from a European Fallow Deer. A nice looking animal, and since she is located overseas, it would make sense for her to have access to a Fallow hide.
