Great job! The pocket reminds me of the pocket in the front of the kilt apron used by the highland regiments during WWI.
That's what is great about these x-kilt instructions. You can stick to them and get a nice kilt, or you can modify them a bit to your own liking and get something unique. After you've made a couple, you can take bits and pieces you like from other modern kilts and incorporate them into your own. It's awsome. I can't wait to start on my next one.
Here is the final picture on the Kilt. He wore it to the SanDiego Zoo this week. Got a couple funny looks at first, but then no one paid him any mind. He loved it because of how cool he felt.
