Just heard some news about Jock Scot

Hope Cynthia is ok, must have been a bad shock for her.

Oh I'm okay, thanks It was a bit shocking, but thankfully he seems to be doing a bit better. It makes me realize it's good to occasionally send a hello to folks you know and enjoy chatting with, and check in on them when they get a little quiet. That's what threw me -- I realized he sure got awfully quiet and when I saw his last log-in date on his profile I wanted to check in and say hello, since I couldn't remember if he mentioned anything about being away for a while.

While I don't know him that well, I do treasure the acquaintances and friends I've made on this board. It's a very nice community here, and it's wonderful getting to "meet" people from all over the world through a common interest like this. I always enjoy seeing photos and hearing about places I would love to see. I'm so glad to hear he's doing better and am looking forward to hopefully seeing posts from Jock again soon!

Great idea Jamie.

I think we should all raise a glass in wishes for a speedy and complete recovery. His wisdom and insight are currently greatly missed on this forum, one which owes him a lot for his contributions and involvement. We can raise glasses again when Jock can join us in another toast to his successful recovery.

(and "no" I am not a alcoholic just looking for excuses to drink).
