Ya'll are almost as bad as my ex with your demands!
So here is the Murray of Atholl Weathered
Lochcarron Wool
16 oz Strome
Kathy's Kilt # 1163 (for perspective my Douglas Grey Ancient was #807 and my Douglas Weathered was #849)
Brown belt and Buckle from USA Kilts
Brown Economy Hunter Sporran from The Celtic Croft
Side shot:
Rear Pleat Shot
Rear pleats in motion
As with my other two kilts from Kathy, strapping this new one on is simply amazing. The fit is superb and unbelievably comfortable. The hang, swing, and feel are just astounding. I am proud ot call her my kiltmaker.

Ain't it a dream to kilt up in a top-of-the-line kilt like that!?
I know we have a lot of fine kiltmakers on this board.
But for me, Kathy Lare is the tops! Have purchased ten hand sewn kilts from her now.
Her pleat work is so fine it looks like you have the kilt on backwards when its pleated to the sett.
She paid attention at Keith Kilt School, learned from the best and she gets better and better and better.
My last kilt from her was her #1093....guess its getting to be time to order another one if she's sewn 60 kilts since then!
And there are a lot of good mills making tartan fabric, but I've come to believe that Lochcarron 16 ounce Strome is the best of them all.
So, Kathy Lare and Lochcarron Strome...it just doesn't get any better than that.
And, best of all, her two payment program and a cost probably $100 or more less than dealing with a middleman.
I am drooling on the keyboard and headed for my wish list....

That's a very nice looking kilt. Murray of Atholl is a great tartan, no matter what shade.
