Hawick Highland Games

I must publicly thank Alex for being such a welcoming and kind host when we accompanied him to Hawick last Sunday. He guided us round the games (even paid us in which was very generous), and ensured we had a very enjoyable day.

And his pics are excellent as usual !

Fine pictures as usual, thanks Alex! Steve will surely want a poster of his haggis-hurling pose (great action shot) but it does look as if he is giving Bobbie last rites later on. . . and she's not seen in subsequent photos. . . she is surviving the trip OK, I hope?

I'm still here, but I have been spending a lot of time taking photos. Since pictures of people taking photos are not all that interesting, I have stayed out of most of the photos.

looks fun. i don't think i'd have the guts to actually get in volved, but then they don't have wellie throwing at my local games... or haggis putting for that matter.
