Welcome to X-marks from Atlanta! I think you should get a kilt from rocky in the EMS tartan!

Welcome and thanks for serving. I likely won't be able to thank you in person on the way to the ER with tubes down my throat.

I believe there's a most honorable story behind how the EMS tartan came to look like a restaurant tablecloth...the first ones were just that. Maybe someone who knows the story well can tell it.

I own a Medical White Utilikilt Original that would make a fine EMS kilt. I've "outgrown" it, but I don't know many EMS folks that are as fat as I used to be. Its 65 poly/35 cotton with silver snaps and logo. True 42" waist 21" length. Not made anymore, believe it was a sample or trial kilt. Got it from scratch and dent but no defects, just unusual. Its a great snow camo kilt too.

Actually, the "MacMedic" tartan was designed for (volunteer?) emergency workers either the Grandfather or Stone Mountain games.

To be clear the kilt would be special events only.

I could wear it at my pant waist, where I wear my phillabeg. I wish this "diet" and exercise program would kick in soon!
