Nothing beats a good woven silk tie. I'd be interested if this gets past the idea stage.

Some years ago Land's End used to sell several regimental striped ties in wool. The few I remember are the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, and Brigade of Guards. But, as someone pointed out, the stripes aren't as crisp as with silk.

Ok, never designed a tie before, so how about: dark blue, light blue, yellow, all on the diagonal and inch and a half equal stripes? Alan we could be at at this stage for years to come!LOL
