My guess is the dog will remain in the company of the Senator's widow.

Speaking as a native Bay Stater represented on Capitol Hill by Senator Kennedy for my entire lifetime, he will be sorely missed.

I had no idea he was married at the time of his death. My condolences to the lady.

It's amazing how powerful he was on the political scene even in these last few years. He made a huge impact on the US. You won't see a politician like this again for a while.

I thought that the Obamas might take Splash, because Sen Kennedy persuaded Pres Obama to get his daughters a Portuguese Water Dog as well.

He will be missed. His office helped me directly twice and I often used his responsiveness as an example to people why we should be politically involved. My wife, not a citizen, still received help because I am a citizen and I vote. Teddy we hardly knew ye. Go in peace friend.
