Great photos Arlen. Thank you for sharing. The dance group did a wonder job! Bonnie, my fiance got a few photo's as well of your group. I think you are sporting those new hose that Diane made you. Looks great my friend!
This was my first year kilted at the Games and my first year as the Idaho convener for Clan Gunn. It was a great experience and I was honored to represent the Gunn Clan.
Here is a photo of our tent. The people included in the photo with me are my dear fiance Bonnie, my son Gavin (Mac Jr.) and my wonderful friends who also helped with the tent, Robin and her husband Craig. They were all so helpful in making this last weekend the success that it was.
Here are a few photos of me in a new kilt that was given to me recently by my friend Arlen. It is the Pendleton Kilt that was given to him by our own Sandy and Victoria of this group. The kilt no longer fit Arlen so he passed it on to me with the blessing of Sandy and Victoria. It is a fine kilt and I'm truly grateful for the gift. Thank you Arlen and thank you Sandy and Victoria for allowing Arlen to pass the kilt onto me. I was proud to wear it to the Games this past weekend. I will post better photo's of it soon.
This past weekend was a memorable experience. I'm looking forward to next year!
Slàinte!
Shawn

I really wish we could have been there. James's boss made him work 11 hours that day so he was too pooped to drive, and I'm night blind, so I'm useless after about 7:30.
Other things kept us as well.
Glad you guys all had fun. I found out McMurdo is a sept of MacDonald too! And I already knew my dad's family were Gunn's a couple generations back...it could have been a big X-marks family reunion! lol
Now I have some other kilts on the list to buy.

Great additional photos Shawn, it really is a wonderful community here, as the story of your kilt shows. Thank you for posting the photos and the story behind it.
