I have a wet suit that would fit you. It's a beaver tail design. I think I have the pants gloves and balaclava too!....Panache in neoprene!....hmmm I could make you a matching sporran for that as well!

Robert,
I have seen pictures of you!
I strongly suspect that my 5' 11" frame might not quite fit one of yours, you do have rather noticeable height!
(FYI: To everyone else, Robert is a very, very tall guy!)
Cheers

I tried but could not summon up any enthusiasm for a wet suit at all.

Perhaps that is becuase there isn't all that much surfing and boogie boarding in the Uk Trefor?
To the best of my knowledge the musical group "The Beach Boys" didn't sing all that much about catching waves down the Thames

Or so they've advertised themselves, anyway...
Yer 41. I remember what that was like. Yer feelin' like ya oughta do something while yer still "Old enough to know better and young enough to keep tryin'."
All along I was gonna come down squarely for the sporran, because I know how bad it sucks to bust yerself up past the age of 25. But hey, if we all said, "get the sporran" you'd feel real old all of a sudden.
So get in touch with your gnarly side. Just remember to spend some time stretching first, board with a clear head and quit before it starts to be work. Now suit up and get out there where all the young dudes can look at you and say, "Did you SEE that old guy?"
Besides, I'm 48 and it's why there's a Landyachtz Bamboo Totem longboard hanging on the wall in my office. I don't ride often, but I like to go in style when I do.
Cheers!

There are several surfing sites here - Newquay in Cornwall, Whitesands Bay near St Davids here in Wales for example.
River surfing might be possible on the Severn Bore but it wouldn't look very spectacular.

Actually, there is some very good surfing down in Cornwall, not all that far south of Trefor.
