I was in a department store trying to find a tie and maybe a coat to go with my kilt. The clerk asked if there was some "Fancy Shindig". I stated "No, a tie doesn't really go with cargo shorts."

    Lol.
I remember I was asked at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow by a New Zealander

    "Are you in a band?"
    "no, why?"
"oh - just because you're wearing a kilt. Why are you wearing one if you're not in a pipe band"
"because I like wearing a kilt to events - especially Scottish-orientated events"
    *shocked face* "oh right"
    LIES!!!!

I'm embarrassed, actually, I get asked that all the time by Kiwi's...

    oh and...

the next time someone asks me to dance a bloody fling, or anything like that....

Well its not going to be pretty...

I've never been asked to dance a fling, but there's a lot of "what clan are you". And I'm getting really tired of drunken, middle-aged women wanting to fondle my reproductive organs.
