OK, thanks to Jamie's clue, I think I got list 2...
They are the first commands of sci-fi ship's Captains.
Agamemnon; not sure, maybe the guy that talks a lot in Babylon 5
Stargazer ; Captian Picard
Deathshadow ; Captain Harlock
Valkyrie ; Commander William Adama
Tough without the internet! I use it for a back-up brain now

What a fantastic description of Captain John Sheridan commander of the Babylon 5 space station!
( For anyone who thought that Captain Jean Luc Picard was prone to "speechifying" you haven't heard anything yet! For Captain Sheridan long speeches, like bagpipes, were consider a weapon of war*)
You also nailed the common theme, first starship commands.
Hope this made a few of you smile
Cheers

Good stuff ! Thanks for the workout Jamie! I'm going to make list 2 into a trivia question for our SciFi con this year.

YouTube has Planet of the Vampires, here is part 1.
And here is It! The Terror from Beyond Space trailer
I'd say the Planet of the Vampires has more of a Alien Vibe. But they both have some decent schlock. Funny thing, I have really strong memories of Planet of the Vampires in black and white, but it was really in color.
bizzare.
