We all won in hockey. Congratulations to Canada and the USA. Such great neighbors we are!

The whole city shut down for this game. From the newscasts, it looks like the country closed for 3 hours!
It was one for the ages with a storybook ending.
For any of you guys south of 49 that don't know about Canada and hockey ...
USA wanted to win as much as anyone could. They gave it an amazing effort!
But Canada needed to win.
I'm proud of the American team! I though Kesler was amazing!
I'm also proud of every single person attending the women's final. When they gave the American gals their silver medals, the whole arena chanted, "USA! USA!" some of the USA girls broke into tears when they heard it.
Canadians love nothing better than an exciting hockey game and the USA keeps delivering!
Thanks for the kind words here. Good neighbours should always be appreciated.

Indeed! Each team had the same record for the tournament: only losing one game each - to each other! Great game...!

Sad.
As someone said, the best team got Gold but the best goaltender got Silver. It was a good game and if we (U.S.A.) had fall to anyone, it's best that was to our neighbors to the north. Congrats Canada.
Now, back to the Blackhawks!

Hard to be upset about the outcome of a game like that. If the USA had to go out, that's the way to do it; they should keep their heads up and wear that Silver proudly; their only lost came to great champions. Congratulations Canada on a well earned Gold! What a game!!!

"O Canada, we stand on guard for thee" had to have been written by a goalie....
Great game for sure!

The team with the best goalie. My team? I think it's because that question is so difficult to answer that they actually play the games and keep score.
I understand his disappointment but hope that time will help him see what a great result they had - even if it wasn't the golden one.

Awesome game, awesome tournament! And Bettman and his cronies keep talking about pulling the NHL out of the Olympics. 'twould be a shame and I hope it doesn't happen.
