It is a nice looking kilt.. I have always loaded my pics on my photos members page of XMarks, and just link the picture that is listed... I keep my photos down in number as not to load the system down...

Brooster, its mine alright
OK Brooster, your right I am not wearing it so how do you know BUT, consider the following:
1) I spent 505.00 US for this pictured kilt and
2) Sure is a coincidence that the kilt is a MacLean of Duart just like the one Strathmore sent me....
OK, OK, I know, I'll put the thing on....
I don't have my whole outfit together yet so until I do, it's gonna look a little funny......stay tuned!

Very nice. I've always liked that tartan.
It's more than the colours, as there are loads of tartans with colours like that. It's about the design having a strong structure, and the proportions being just right.
This tartan looks equally good in muted colours, weathered colours, etc.
One of the top pipe bands in Scotland wore it, Dysart & Dundonald as I recall.
Sorry to see a kilt pin on it. (But I'll refrain from my anti kilt pin rant.)

Did anyone else notice they used Lochcarron's cloth? (note the word 'Strome' on the tag and the direction the twill runs)

Hmmm...so I get that 'Strome' is a Lochcarron Trademark. Did they sew the kilt with the wrong side out? Barb's book taught me that the twill weave was always supposed to go top left to bottom right...this is opposite. What gives? Please explain.
