    My son's Renissance festival kit

    My son is working on creating for himself an archers persona. We have a model of a medieval archer that we're working to more or less mimic. We actually have an English longbow in the making, and will be replacing the recurve bow soon. So here he is:



    Most of the leather gear I have made for him. The drinking horn was made by our friend Rick. Here's the crossbelt:









    This is where the quiver will attach when I get that finished.



    Tomahawk and it's frog:







    I scoured the internet for a good ax frog and found nothing but cheap crap. They were all three pieces! The straps look like chromium tanned apholstry leather riveted onto the main body! Three uses, and they'd tear! And the straps were THIN!! They wanted upwards of $25 for the chincy things!! So I had to make my own.
