My redeeming came at the end of the conversation where I said "A weak person needs to follow the crowd, my self worth doesn't come from what others think of me. In regards to womens opinion of the kilt I've had my *** grabbed twice just while we have been talking."

How does it harm anyone that I choose not to dress like a bum? This didn't seem like an attack on my kilt wearing but more an attack on my making myself presentable?

IMHO -- this woman has no idea what a kilt is and acted under the assumption that kilt = skirt. She, IMHO, is also no doubt so insecure in her femininity that she sees it necessary to chastise you for wearing what she perceives as a feminine garment. You would therefore have every right to criticise her clothing if she was wearing a pair of women's slack or jeans -- or at very least remind that no one gives her any schtick if she does so.

These type of people really get on my nerves!

Ditch the kilt for jeans, switch from whatever shoes you wear to some ratty sneakers, and switch from scotch to....I don't know... Natural Ice, and you probably could pick up more women...not a lady mind you, but females. Oh, try an "I'm With Stupid" tshirt too, works like magic.
