someone trying to tell you...
GFR, I know both sides of your frustration. I have visited and sent anniversary cards to items in the shop waiting to be repaired or altered. I have also been the guy who kept meaning to finish something and always thought about it at the wrong time. I figure we live with the consequences of our failures, though, and I expect your seller is going to regret not having gotten out of bed and wrapped the darned things- or whatever it is that needs to be done.
If asked, I would suggest a full refund, a set of complementary flashes, and maybe a packet of shortbread, sent priority express.
BUT, the past is merely prologue and my own guess is that the Larger Universe is telling you that tartan flashes may be Un Peu de Trop. Don't you really like the solid ones you have been wearing?

Yes Mac. The solid Black flashes do the job quite well! Any hopes from hearing anything from the Celtic Croft are gone. May they treat their other customers(if they have any) better then they treated me.

I'm not trying to sway people one way or the other, but I had a decent experience with them. Not with a kilt or flashes, mind you. I had ordered a simple brown day sporran and it arrived in a week. I'm willing to bet it's the fact that they probably have to go through various channels with getting kilts made and shipped, and probably get the run-around they gave you in return...
That is no excuse, however, for blatantly shrugging you off like they had been doing. Personally, due to this, I will not order kilts from them. Tartan Web seems to have the best reviews and bang for the buck (is there a similar phrase for the GBP? lol).

I just hope the forum owner and moderators got s glimpse of this post, and maybe, could drop a message to the folks at Celtic Croft. They are a forum sponsor/advertiser, and if this was routine business practice, I should hope the forum would not want to be associated with. It is surprising though, since it seems that, usually, the most reputable people in this industry are sponsors on here. Hopefully everything will get resolved.

Thanks Aaron.I thought for sure I would've at least been acknowledged by them here but it hasn't worked so far. I was kind enough to even give them the heads up that I was going to take this to XMTS.

I like the hose that Celtic Croft sells, and they carry it in small too, which is a bit hard to find. I had excellent service from them and a nice catalog too.

I've had "nice" experiences w/them too but those don't make up for how I'm being treated now. They even have a pic of me in a Phillabeg that they made for me on their website in the Kilts section under Phillabegs(you would think that would make me like part of their clan ). Don't get me wrong, they seem to be very nice people. That's why I don't understand why they're going out of their way to ignore me and not fulfill my order.

Thanks for the call Steve. He has explained their situation to me & I'm very understanding of it. As I said before, the people at the Celtic Croft are very nice people and sell quality items. I was just having trouble w/getting this issue resolved. It looks as though we're headed in the right direction!!! Thanks again Steve for contacting me & I look forward to wearing those flashes!!!
