While I'm not a 'Diddy' fan, check out THIS ARTICLE where they call Diddy's kilt a woman's garment.

Its wrong to compare the 2.

Samuel L Jackson > Sean "P Diddy" Combs

Great quote from the P Diddy in the article:

"I want to show you the utmost respect and embrace your heritage and culture," he told the crowd of over 1,500, per the Daily Record. "You've got to be a real man to wear this."

Thanks, GreenDragon, for posting this quote from P Diddy: “You've got to be a real man to wear this.
What a pity the Daily Grind labelled the outfit “women’s clothing”. They will most certainly have to be put right!

[Uhm I'm shaking my head with the criticism that you're throwing at P Diddy or Kravitz, fan or not.]

It is great that he, a black celebrity, is *wearing* a kilt - the garment that we all want to become a mainstream article of clothing!

Certainly it is great that he is wearing a kilt.
But perhaps someone should have given him a few pointers. It does seem as if Diddy was wearing his sporran backwards, and the baseball cap did not go with the outfit.

    Mike

I'll admit that at first I wasn't really appreciative of Diddy's style, but after a few pictures it grew on me for one main reason. I feel like he still comes off very masculine in it. You see a lot of pictures from Dressed to Kilt and other things where non-Scottish celebrities are wearing the kilt, but at the same time striking some girly pose that shows at heart they don't really take it seriously. It's still a novelty item to them.

Go back and look at picture 2 of 10. Set aside everything you know about P.Diddy and think, if someone told you this was a Scottish artist putting on a concert in Glasgow, could you believe it? I think you could.

I will acknowledge that Samuel L. Jackson is unbeatable in the Yanks wearing kilts category though.

What I don't want is for kilts et al to become part of Gangsta lore or regalia. That happened with Harris tweed, believe it or not, and absolutely killed the market when it went out of style with that group. Could have been a coincidence but I think not.
