Rocky,
What is the name of the tweed (style, i.e.- "Glen Tilt") in which you are wearing? Just curious.
Aye,

Anyone who fancies a coloured waistcoat of any hue (patterned or plain), without tearing a hole in their account AND who isn't dining with Royalty, they might have a look see at Uniformal Wearhouse. I'm quite drawn to the three button paisley metalics myself. I'm sure in my obliviousness I'd wear it well.
The reversilbles might provide a bit of versatility too. Shame they don't trade in UK.
Rocky, that outfit is splendid. I am most envious... You DO wear it well.

This may or may not be the place but I'm going to ask since "red" is in the title. What is the story with red and highland attire? I see the red vest and don't really understand and I see people talking about red hose ties or flashes and really don't understand that. Can someone help?

I'm thinking it was Glen Inver
Scottish Tartans Museum has some pix here. In Scotweb's tartan finder, I did a search for glen tilt highland tweed.

Well, it is with trepidation that I post my "red vest" picture after the sartorial splendor of Chas and Rocky, but I beg your indulgence. It is after all a costume that I will wear to this event.

Yes... Glen Inver. That's it. If anyone wants a jacket / vest / kilt in it, any kiltmaker can get it.
