My sharp eye for that sort of thing noticed the Union Flag of the UK was being flown upside down. (In pic adjacent to caption "Tuesday November 30th 2010" )
It should give precedence to Scotland over N. Ireland. with the broad white diagonal stripe uppermost at the hoist!
A common mistake and often seen over here in the UK too!

I was there yesterday and saw your backpack with a sheep, I was having a real bad leg day so could not walk fast enough to catch up with you, or even march. It was a splendid day.

Youngest grandson and I made it down. Walked with our Clan Society (Clan Young). Had a great time. He tells me he wants to do it again next year, but he wants us to get a hotel room Friday night so he doesn't have to get up so early. Here's an "after parade" shot.

Great set of pics. Looks like it was a fantastic event with very nice weather.
We here in Norway are a bit frozen down at the moment with down to -4 degrees Fahrenheit in the weekend. How cold was it in Alexandria?

Mid twenties Fahrenheit hitting forty in the afternoon. It was sunnier than forecasted turning out to be delightful. I thought I was to lightly dressed but turned out to be perfect. Sooo, different to the rainy, snowy cold we had the year before.
