    You should definately try it on something. I've used the medium brown antiquing gel on all my targes and it really gives a nice, old, heirloom appearance.

    I hate the Eco Flo antiquing stain (if you're thinking of the gunk in the shoe polish style jar.) I really like the all-in-one dye stuff, though! It works great!! This is one thing that I made with the Acorn Brown, just for reference:
