I bought my blade from

they also have a Damascus one. I used a sledge hammer handle that had finaly snapped after 30 years of use. solid hickory, and the tang is threaded, I used a bolt epoxied on for the pommel and ground it to a nice shape. still working on it, I'll put up more pic when I finish it. It fits my hand and doesn't weigh a thing.
