Hi, Iain – no Brazilian district tartans at all, as far as I have been able to determine. So knock yourself out – design a Carioca tartan!
Your daughter is a real cutie. But helping mom with the baby is more important than her looks right now. ;-)

Well....my first thought is an Emerald green background with gold and blue stripes...just like the colors of the Brasil Flag.
I'm picturing something that looks quite similar to the Irish National Tartan

Small correction: I initially wrote no Brazilian tartans at all, but I notice that the Brazilian family surnamed Souza Nery has one. But, yes, a Brazilian national tartan is an excellent idea.
