You can get a free download of the Xkilt pattern by either googling Xkilt or using the search function on this board. The author Alan H is a member of this forum. The Xkilt is a contempory kilt that that has been designed to be made by anyone who has a basic understanding of sewing and can be made from any material you can afford.

Just put X-kilt in the search function and it's about 5th topic down or check in the DIY section of the forum

    How about you

Kept my beard and mustasch. Kept my 13 button blues also. Never switched to the milkman uniform.

    Oh boy...another one of "them."

I was an airdale...AM1. Not enough jet exhaust and heat for me down below.
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.

Congrats, Llwyd. I wanted to spend 30. I loved it. A removed kneecap stopped my ambitions. I felt I was in condition to go back to the ship, they said otherwise. Would have retired in 2003
