Thanks everybody!
I never could have pulled off the look without this forum. So glad I found it.
Chrisupyonder, I'm still shopping for a sporran belt. Every since I ordered the kilt I've been shopping. Buying one piece here, another there. The sporran came with a short belt with chains, which I didn't want to wear so I got the hangers. It works okay, but I still consider it temporary.
3fingerslinger, I'm taking Elsie's kilt making class in June. That's my next kilt. Sure hope it is wearable after I finish it.
Riverkilt, I let the shop have it made in Scotland - anonymous kiltmaker. Fabric is from Dalgleish.
Matt, the Lewis hose were one of the easier items to decide to purchase. They're great. But, I really do need to step up to the custom ones. At 17" calves mine aren't large, but they are deforming the pattern on the top of the hose.
I'll try for more pics at work tomorrow.

That’s a fine kilt in a fine tartan, Calico! Well done!

A great turnout. I would recommend Oconee Leather Works for a sporran belt. He'll make a custom sporran belt for you at a reasonable price (and no chains)

For sporran straps you might also want to have a look at RKilts. He's making both a flat strap and a braided, even a two-tone braid, depending on your taste.

Thanks all. I will check out those belt supplier links.
A quick pic from work. Sorry about the lighting, hard to take a picture against such a strong backlight.

Oddly enough, "the question" today is, "why are you wearing that?"
The only person who wanted to ask the "other" question was the executive secretary and she has too much "sexual harassment" training ... she couldn't bring herself to actually ask me.
