He tended to wear all different tartans. I saw an episode once that had Lindsay in the tie...

Has anyone seen the pictures of the dress created out of the new Ellis Island tartan? I thought the dress was...hmmm...hideous...but I'd like to see a swatch of the tartan...

Oh, wow! I never noticed. I shall have to look. It's been years since I watched the show. I would just go on seeing it shot live by my workplace. They loved the neighborhood.
I wonder if the connection is through his mother.

Watched the show for years and never noticed his ties either. Too busy looking at Chris Noth LOL

As a reminder, Chris Noth used to play a police detective on one of the earlier seasons of "Law and Order" for which his Irish-American character always wore a tartan tie (a different one each week)...with his leather jacket.
