Unfortunately the everything else part spilled out into the guest room dresser drawers with too many hose and small kilt and cap pins, etc... I still need to find more efficient ways of organizing some smaller stuff, but it works great.
And all this as my belated Father's Day gift from The Wife (as she has been known here on the forum), who really does not like my kilt habit or even the way I look in a kilt, let alone my ongoing kilt budget. Thank you, Wife, if I have not said it enough lately.

Okay Rob, here are a few of the small closet, as best as I can get in the small space.
Top rack for kilts.
Bottom rack for jackets and waistcoats. Walking sticks against the side wall.
Just to the right, shelves and drawers, sporran collection.
Further right, more shelves, these with my cap/bonnet collection and brogues. Steamer in front on the floor.
My kilts and coats usually are in plastic garment bags with lavendar or cedar--they were removed for photographic purposes. The tops of the units also store my other hats like fedoras, cowboy stetsons, ball and golf caps, and my older collection of camera gear that is little used these days with my newer digitals. As I said there is a dresser in the bedroom that goes with this closet that has a couple drwers of hose, ties, and metal wear. If I can organize the closet drawers a little better I will probably be able to move them into the closet with the rest of the kilt stuff.

That's pretty darn cool. Heck of a good idea too. Now I have one more project to add to my "to-do" list!!
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.

You have an addiction...
Yes I'm jealous Jeff...but you truly have an addiction. Good lord man!!! How many kilts and Sporrans does a man need???? You're going to transition to a full time kiltwearer when you retire, aren't you??

Great idea and workmanship. I have an old cedar chest in my garage thats been there for years unused. Now I have an idea on what to do with it. I only have 2 kilts but think I will have fun filling the chest.

LOL, Major, I suspect the good doctor is preparing to challenge Hamish's position as Kilted Legend in the future

I am now envious on so many levels- WOW! I have 2 kilts, 1 sporran, 1 glengarry, 1 jacket, 1 pair ghillie brogues, and 1 set of hardware to tie it together. That's a lot of 1's to go with your many's .
Seriously, that is impressive and a very nice use of space. It definitely lets me know what I'm aiming at in the (probably far distant) future
Thanks for sharing.
