As others have stated coffin flags are much larger and each flag represents the same type of service, however your grandfathers flags represents his service and commitment, whereas your flag represents yours. In that light I see the two flags as seperate and should be kept as such. I would still case and display your grandfathers flag since it has such a proud heritage.
