So according to your friend's logic, because 95% of the people at Pride were wearing trousers, therefore -
Trousers = Gay
Wear your kilt where you want, he's the one with the problem.

this is essentiall what it comes down to........ your friend appears to suffer a stunningly poor sense of logic.

Re: Wearing my with pride at Pride
There's a guy at my University who won't wear his kilt because ...
1. his wife told him that she saw a series of pictures somewhere and there were a bunch of gay men in it and they were wearing kilts
and
2. she doesn't want people thinking he is gay because he's wearing a kilt.
As a complete and total aside, both of them wear Buddhist (Taoist? -not spot-on positive about this) Prayer Robes in public. Prayer robes are fine, but a Black Watch kilt is not?
I figure, having "balls" is what you kind of need, to wear a kilt. My friend seems to be lacking them, in this regard, as much as he is a nice enough guy. You obviously have them, just fine.
Carry on.

I love Pride Festivals because of the FREEDOM. Have risked being a straight guy kilted to show my support. A few years ago was down at Pride in the Pines in Flagstaff and found other kilted guys.

Even found another straight guy kilted - you might recognize him.

Maybe 'cause I got sober and don't hang out at bars the only time I've been kilt checked against my will was by a very drunk guy at a Pride Festival.
Anyhow, if you've never been to a Pride Festival or Pride Parade and you happen to love FREEDOM - try one out and immerse yourself in the joys of FREEDOM...kilted of course.

Ya, that business of "this or that" means you're straight gets pretty confusing.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Great pic, and great cause. It's your pal that has the problem.

Your "friend" apparently has a problem. Perhaps he is concerned that some may think he is wearing a skirt. Perhaps he should stick to trousers.
