Good to see Hamish receiving visitors again and getting some good kilted company!
Greetings from the Isle of Man Hamish - do you have a Manx tartan?!

Better late than never! Here, at last, are some images taken by my personal photographer during Paul's visit:
The 'hand-shake over the sundial' ritual.
Paul gives us a classic pleat shot at that sundial on the South Terrace at Bicknell Grange.
Paul poses nonchalantly at the gate leading to the West Lawns.........
........ and is joined there by yours truly.
Finally, Paul is glimpsed admiring the bubbling water feature on the South Lawn.
Shortly after the photo-shoot we adjourned to the kilt vaults deep within Bicknell Grange where Paul paid close attention to the secrets of many of his fellow kiltmakers. Sorry but no photos were taken during his part of Paul's visit as my personal photographer, Tri Self-Timer, felt he had done quite enough for one day. You just cannot get the Staff nowadays. I would have asked Old S-----m, my long-serving personal retainer to operate the image recording device, but his hand (in fact his entire body really) was just not steady enough. I have never understood why he feels it necessary to do an hourly stocktake of the wine cellars but he's being doing that for years - and who am I to stop him?
It was good to welcome Paul to deepest Sussex and to add his name to the list of illustrious kilties, kilt-makers and sundry vagrants who have previously make the trek!
Take care,
Ham.

Great pictures!
I've heard about you Hamish and your collection of 98 Kilts (or more).
Absolutely amazing, so many I just can't imaging. I wonder what would be the biggest personal collection, 200 ... 300?
...or 365? A new kilt for each day of a year. =)
Thanks for sharing!

I suspected as much Hamish!
I will be in Peel tomorrow so will look for the shop in Michael St but being Sunday I fear it may be closed..
Just got back to the hotel and what should I see someone carrying in but a Manx Hunting tartan kilt on a hanger!
I am hoping to see it being worn later though I expect it's for a wedding function and I am not a guest!
