I'm glad your wait is over as well. Rocky emailed me that same photo when I contacted him with some questions on the Batley version of the Maple Leaf. It helped me make my decision as well. He should really post that picture instead of the swatch picture on his website! I can't wait to see your photos of my kilt's "brother".

I was unaware of the weaver, BATLEY, until Matt's post and photo. I had been thinking of getting a 16 oz 5 yard wool USA kilt, but only occasionally looking at tartans I liked after seeing some kilt pics here on XMarks. But your original thread with Matt's photo sealed the deal. I agree, It was his kilt photo not the swatch pic that did it for my decision to place my order. The quality of the tartan fabric, the straps and buckles and the fit are first rate. I am so pleased with my first USA 5-yarder. They will be highly recommended by me.
