I'm not 100% sure if the pins were of a similar design though. If I get a chance I'll check, and let you know
I'll definitely have to check it out, then. I'll be staying close by so it will be just a short walk (and I'm wanting to explore New Town anyways).

It's easy to find, just directly opposite Waverley Station.
If you're planning on looking around New Town, in my own opinion I'd stay off Prince's Street. It always just seems way too busy with tourists, and the ongoing tram works that have closed most of the street don't make things much better.
Although saying that, Princes street gardens is always nice for a wee wander around.

Re: Any Disney kilt pins?
Had a look in the Disney store yesterday. They had absolutely no pins available. The sales assistant I asked was unsure if they would have any new stock in.
I don't know if it's the same with the glasgow store though.

I ordered this one for the trip (leaving 3 weeks from tonight) -

Planning on packing 2, maybe 3, kilts for the trip. Mostly for the fancy nights. Have a reservation for our anniversary dinner at the Palo (semi-formal min), the semi-formal night and of course the Rose and Crown. Thinking my Lamont tank and the new R'lyeh box should be good. Just thinking of bringing the Gordon PVC for hanging around.

Not a kilt pin, but I bought this scarf a while back on Ebay!
Sorry for the bad photo, but the scarf is made in Scotland and had Mickey playing the bagpipes.

Thanks for looking. I'll also take a look as the store is near my hotel. Who knows, maybe I'll be lucky! Besides, I'm going on a Disney cruise in May and I may see something that I can't get in the States.

Well, now that someone has woken up this thread, is it me, or is Chip wearing his kilt backwards..........

So it would appear - but then we're talking about Chip here, who rarely shows any true fashion sense.

Since heading back and forth to the various Disneys the past year and a half I have been bitten by the pin bug. In feeding the habit I have found a couple more that would make some interesting kilt pins -

As you can tell I am a bit of a Chip & Dale fan. Add Stitch to that and you can see my "troublemaker" tendencies
Heading back to Disneyland at the end of Sept for a quick weekend visit. Got to use up some of my last days on my passes. Also the military discounts are up for renewal Oct 1st so never know when it might go back up to full price for tickets and hotels.
Try to see if OC Richard is around and say high
