Re: The NEW lasses wear thread

If I remember correctly you were part of the decision making team on this one Alan

"Which one should I get, the blue and grey..."?

    Or, the pink and grey...?

She chose the one that goes best with my MacMillan Hunting Modern kilt of course!

    Star #1

OK Alan, I may be a tartan peacock but my finery is but a dim effort to compare to the radiance of my shining Star. She has a myriad of looks that suit her mood and the venue.

    Here are a few

    Star pictures

    Tartan Jacket

    XMTS Tartan Cheerleader skirt

    Including boyfriend’s varsity jacket

Lindsey mini (you might remember this one as YOU MADE IT!)

    Mcleod of Lewis Mini

    Tartan Dress from Hot Topic

Having fun with her tartans (McLeod of Lewis and MacNicol )

    Dress Gordon hostess length skirt

    Hunter tartan hostess length skirt

    Star III

However I think some of her very best looks are where she doesn't worry about tartan and just goes for something that makes a nice contrast or compliments the tartans and outfits about her

    Safari Look

    Formal wear

    Butterfly

What really makes her look so great is she is who she is and she is comfortable in her own skin. As Rex Tremende once wrote "Confidence is sexy"

    Cheers

Thanks Jamie! You and your wife both look splendid as well, but I fear your 'better half' may have you beat, every so slightly, my friend! Hahaha! Agreed: "Lady's little black dress trumps Gentleman's tartan highland finery." Ain't that the truth!!!

    Best wishes mate,

I always liked that Lindsay skirt. It's too bad the X-Skirt manual (that's one of the prototypes) never took off.

BTW, Star, the butterfly dress is the schiznit!

Creagdubh....you're not actually wearing a balmoral indoors in one of those pictures are you? ...teasing, teasing!!

Brooke, Connie is a really lovely woman, and she looks drop-dead great in both of those...but we agree, she made the right choice!

Remember that Karen from MacKinnons kilts said she was rockin' the boots? She WAS!
