I suggest you enjoy the waiting. The kilt will arrive one day you will enjoy it immensely but be forewarned it will not be long before you are eying another tartan and maybe another sporran and hose and of course that tweed jacket you saw the other day would go so well with the new tartan and that will come one day and soon after that you will be scheming on just how you are going to convince your partner how much you need that Isle of Sky kilt (It is no longer a want...it is a need). You will get it then with a sudden jolt you will realize you are hooked and there is no turning back.
Tis a bad bad addiction and I have never known any man who was able to overcome that addiction.
Good luck my friend. It is a happy but obsessive path we tread.
Lang may your lum reek and a wee mouse never leaves your cupboard with a tear in its eye.

Get a good collection of sporrans and belts lined up.

After that, learn to play the riff and solo from BOC's 1976 hit, The Reaper.

Your kilt will be there before you know it.

...and if you really think you can stop any time you want, I've got a lovely piece of ocean front property in Montana to sell you.

I go to work in order to make more money, so I can by more items for my Highland dress wardrobe. Oh, and I drink pints of Belhaven with a wee nip thrown in there from time to time.

    Cheers,
